The majority of them, except for the classic actors and films, were made for a bunch of different icon challenges that I never got around to posting, so it's all quite random (especially the miscellaneous section). I just finished an insanely busy semester (only one year left!), during which I was only able to bust out about an icon a week. So I'm looking forward to summer, and to hopefully being more productive around here ♥

Here are some icons from a crapload of fandoms. Some have been hanging around for a while, some were the result of my last grasp of freedom this week. Yep, it's school time again, which means the slow reader gets to read at least 1 1/2 novels a week. Nose, say hi to your old friend, Grindstone.

The last few UB episodes have had so much pretty in them and so many lovely moments between characters that I went into a bit of an iconing frenzy. Don't worry, my subject matter is slowly diversifying, but for the moment, this show beckons me to icon it. Plus, there are some Christmas-y ones I wanted to post before December.

I've been a bit lax with the updating lately...getting a second part-time job while taking classes will do that to one's energy levels/time to do stuff. I just haven't been too creative lately. I present to you a buffet of iconage wrought from several different icontests/fits of boredom. Someone finally capped higher quality stills of the Hairspray trailer (!), so there are a few here from that (click the "hairspray" tag to see the other set), but I think I'll wait 'til it comes out on DVD to make my own caps and really go crazy, maybe even do a mood theme.

About half the Ugly Betty stuff is from the weird/awesome/creepy new promo pics, but they're not particularly spoilery (unless you'd be shocked to see Henry wearing argyle again *gasp*). Feel free to resize the banners or add text or whatever.

I know, I know. I swear, this is the last Ugly Betty mood theme I'm making (this season...), but I've been wanting to do a Marc and Amanda one for ages. I just had to get it out of my system. No borders on this one, because I was lazy. But if you really want borders, comment and I'll go ahead and add them. The icons are rather uninspired, but I liked the pictures, so whatever. I also have a "Doctor Who"centric theme in the works that is simultaneously very specific and general, so keep an eye out for that in the coming weeks, if that's more your style. Ah...*scary time* of my finals is over, I have only one easy test tomorrow, and I graduate college on Saturday. Here is the result of my procrastination efforts over the past few weeks. There ended up being a slight bit of crossover from West Side Story on the UB icons, but that's to be expected when you're already making WSS icons and the show just happens to feature a "Something's Coming/Somewhere" montage...the finale killed my heart dead. The first stock headers are variations on my current one. If you want mine, go for it, just be sure to credit.
Be forewarned, there is, as usual, much randomness.

On an entirely unrelated note, go see Hot Fuzz while you can! It is beyond awesome and extra points if you can spot even half of the cameos.

One last post before I go home for spring break, with randomness galore. Although, it won't be much of a break for me, because my family is moving a few towns over and, since I still technically live there, I get to help move and paint all week. yay. Even though the casting seems a bit sketchy, I so want to see Hairspray...and it's the day before the Harry Potter book comes out. That will be a busy weekend.

The UB ones are from the pictures used for my mood theme, so consider it a bit of a preview *wink*. I kind of want to do some character-specific ones (like Betty, Marc/Amanda, Betty/Henry), but I think I'll wait until after the first season, so that there will be more caps. And I know the Anne one is just the icon above with different words, but I couldn't help myself, once it got into my head.

And if you haven't been watching Life on Mars, find a way to see it, for it is awesome. The last episode is next week and I'm so sad/excited but, alas, it is California, and I must download through sketchy means, so no one else has seen it. Anyway, on with the goodies.
